Cal-Hypo (Calcium Hypochlorite) is a fast-acting sanitizer that reacts and breaks down organic material quicker and more effectively than its granulated cousin, Di-Chlor. The Regal Re-Fresh Cal-Hypo we supply is 67.4% free chlorine, making the optimal granular for superchlorination or killing algae.

- Calcium Hypochlorite (Cal-Hypo) is what is actually chlorinating your pool.
- Cal-Hypo has 99.18% available chlorine, which is what oxidizes the contaminants your pool water.
- Regal Re-Fresh is 68% Cal-Hypo, meaning there is around 67.4% available chlorine in the granular. Compared to other methods of chlorination:
- Liquid (Sodium Hypochlorite) - 12.5%
- Tri-Chor Tablets (Trichloro-S-Triazinetrione) - 90%
