- Pool water must obtain proper chemical levels before use.
- Using only algaecide will not effectively destroy algae - chlorine has to be administered.
- Polyquat Algaecide cannot stain your pool, though it may cause foaming on the surface. Not to worry, any foam should filter out quickly, depending on how fast your pool cycles.
- Copper Algaecides can be more effective on algae, but can stain your pool if misused.
